Here are the best games Nintendo should bring back.
When it comes to Nintendo, there are so many games to play that it’s like finding a treasure chest. Nintendo is one of the few companies that has kept a lot of its old games in great shape, so it can choose when to release them again.
Still, Nintendo focuses mostly on remaking popular series instead of making new ones, with Splatoon being the rare exception. Because of this, many of their more unique songs that weren’t huge hits tended to fall out of the spotlight, but they should get another chance.
Sin And Punishment

Sin and Punishment came out for the N64 in 2000. It wasn’t made by Nintendo, but by Treasure, a company that works closely with Nintendo. Sin and Punishment was a big challenge for them. It was an on-rails shooter in full 3D that was made by a small team with the goal of changing how players held the controls.
Even though the game had some problems, it was a huge hit. It was released in the West in 2007 and got a sequel called Star Successor in 2009. Since then, the series has been on hold. On-rail shooters are something Nintendo doesn’t have enough of, and the Switch’s motion controls would be a great way to bring them back.
Punch-Out

Punch-Out began as an arcade game in 1984, just like all other famous fighting games. Sorry if that made you feel old. It was a well-known game that was all about boxing and working your way up to become the best boxer ever.
Since 2009, there hasn’t been a single entry in Punch-Out. It made sense on the Wii. Using your own movements to fight against opponents is something that only Punch-Out and Nintendo could do.
Now that fighting games are popular again, it would be a great time for Punch-Out to come back. All it has to do is focus on what it does well.
Golden Sun

Camelot Software Planning is a game creator whose work you’ve seen but probably haven’t heard of. Today, they are mostly known for their work on Mario sports games, but they started out making RPGs, especially the Golden Sun series.
The first Golden Sun game came out in 2001, and the most recent one came out in 2010. They are similar to Zelda and Final Fantasy in that they have puzzles, exploration, party fighting, and magic. They’re beautiful games in terms of art and music, and even though they’re a bit basic in other ways, they’re cult classics that deserve a chance to compete with some of the biggest RPGs.
Star Fox

Star Fox is still one of Nintendo’s most famous names, even though it comes out less and less often. This game was one of the first home computer games to have 3D graphics. It came out in 1993 for the SNES and was a big name in rail-shooters at the time.
Since then, there have been a lot of Star Fox games. The most recent one, by Platinum, came out in 2016, but it’s not a very good game. Star Fox and its characters are just as popular now as they were in the past, and a new game in the series that goes in a completely different way would be a surefire hit.
F-Zero

Racing games have always had trouble making money because they have to find the right niche. Do you focus on the details of the cars or on how fast and powerful they feel? For its few entries, F-Zero decided to focus on how fast it could go and how fast it could go.
F-Zero, which hasn’t been updated since 2004, has always been about staying alive on a racetrack while going as fast as possible. Vehicles and the characters who control them had stats that decided how fast they could go and how well they could stay alive. It’s a type of racing game that Nintendo doesn’t have a lot of competition in.
Mother

Mother, which came out in 1989 for the NES, was and still is a great game. This game has a very strong image, especially in the West, because it was made as an RPG that made fun of other RPGs even at the time it came out.
Mother 2 is the most popular game in the series because of how funny it is and how fun it is to play. It was the first game to come out of Japan and was called “Earthbound” everywhere else. Even now, Mother 3 is still only available in Japan. A new game in the series would be great, but a legal release of Mother 3 would be enough.
Kid Icarus

Kid Icarus is probably one of the most odd games in Nintendo’s huge collection. It wasn’t the games themselves that were bad, but how they came out.
Snake Game, which came out in 1986 for the NES, had parts of side-scrolling games, role-playing games, and even Metroid. The most recent game, Uprising, was a third-person shooter that was on rails. This was a big change.
After 26 years, of course, a game needs to be changed in some way. Even though the first ones weren’t very popular and the second ones only came out in North America and Europe, they still had fans.
Uprising, on the other hand, was very different from the original and became a classic right away. If Nintendo could bring back Kid Icarus once, they can certainly do it again.
Mario’s Time Machine

Mario is everywhere these days, not just in games but in all kinds of media. He is Nintendo’s mascot and is in every game on their platform and is now even in a cartoon movie. Mario has a lot of games, and he seems to be good at a lot of different jobs. Because of this, it can be easy to forget some of his more… offbeat titles.
In Mario’s early years, Nintendo licensed him out for a short run of educational games. Mario’s Time Machine is the best of these.
Even though the game was wrong about a lot of history, where else can Mario meet William Shakespeare? Why a new Time Machine game could only be good for reality as a whole.
