In The Outlast Trials, you can be Reborn on your own if you make the right moves.
Even with a full team of friends, the Outlast Trials are hard. When playing alone, it’s almost impossible to stay alive. Instead of 4v4, it will just be you against a lot of enemies. You can finish trials by yourself if you keep a few important things in mind.
The Outlast Trials is hard to win. If you want to have a chance at Program X and becoming Reborn, you have to start learning how the AI works and how to complete tasks quickly after the first try. This guide tells you everything you need to know to live on your own.
Take It Slow

In the end, rushing will kill you. Even if you are being chased, there is no reason to run out of energy and get scared. You will need to maintain your stamina by only running for short periods of time when necessary if your stamina has not been upgraded. Use the map to your benefit instead of running away from an enemy. Close doors behind you and hide in the dark to lose the person chasing you.
The more you run around, whether to avoid being caught or to finish tasks quickly, the more likely it is that you will accidentally set off a Screamer or sound trap.
In a trial, you will be safer if you move slowly. Of course, this doesn’t mean taking two hours to finish a trial, since the longer you stay in a trial, the more enemies appear. It just means you should pay attention to what’s going on around you and act only when you need to.
Utilize Throwables

If you play your cards right, you can get a long way with throwables. Yes, you can briefly stun enemies by throwing bricks or bottles at them, but they have more uses. If there is a Screamer next to an objective, like a generator, you can’t really finish the objective without setting it off. To fix this, throw a brick or bottle at the Screamer from a distance, and it will run away to a different place.
You can also find a way to quickly get rid of Pouncers. When a Pouncer attacks you, you usually have to keep pressing the contact button until you can’t anymore. This is a long process. Pouncers can be quickly dispersed from you using the Self-Defense Technique your chemist prescribed, allowing you to continue with your current activity.

Get The Stun or Heal Rig

For end-game trials, rigs are important. You can unlock four of them, but only two are really important. You won’t die or lose your strength if you have a rig. They will let you get away from someone chasing you, giving you a better chance.
At Level 2, you can buy your first Rig. Every time you gain a level, you get a green Voucher that you can use with either the engineer or the doctor to unlock special skills.
Electric shocks from the Stun Rig will temporarily stop people who are following you. They will stop where they are, giving you time to run away or hide. As you add more improvements to Stun, the electric shock will be able to power up your night vision goggles. The Stun Rig is a great way to get away from dangerous enemies.
Of course, the Heal Rig will heal you. The best thing about this Rig is that it will slow down enemies and fix psychosis when it is upgraded. Healing, slowing down enemies, and healing at the same time are huge game-changers.
You can stay alive longer with an upgraded Heal Rig because of its healing and antidote benefits. This is especially important when healing pills are scarce at the end of The Outlast Trials. The mist that the Heal Rig leaves behind will make enemies move a little more slowly, which can help you get away from them and save you time.
Upgrade Your Stamina

At the beginning of The Outlast Trials, your energy is pretty bad. Every person should start to improve their stamina as soon as they can. You will reach a point where your enemies can no longer catch up with you.
To raise your energy, you need to find the pharmacist. You can’t talk to the doctor in the Sleep Room until you reach Level 3. Once you reach Level 3, you can only get medications from Tier I. Unlocking Tier II prescriptions is the only way to get more energy.
To get to Tier II, you have to buy every medication from Tier I.
There will be about four different benefits for your energy in the Tier II prescriptions. Athlete raises your greatest general stamina. Some, like Parkour Technique and Speed Boost, let you covet more energy.
Keep In The Dark

In the dark, your enemies can’t see you. It’s a great place to lose track of someone. If someone sees you, run into a dark room and crouch down somewhere. They will look around, trying to find you. The enemy should leave after a while.
The Night Watcher is the only enemy that can see you in the dark. This is an enemy who, like you, has night vision goggles.
When you play The Outlast Trials with friends, it’s easy to lose chase if you lead an enemy to one of your friends. All of your enemies are after you and only you when you’re alone. You can stay safe if you stay in the dark and don’t make noise unless you have to.
Bring Enemies Far From Objective

When you play with other people, it’s easier because the enemies can chase someone else around while you focus on the goal, like killing the snitch in Program 1. If you play Drive Mad by yourself, you will have to be more careful.
When the goal is to stand still, it’s hard to not have ten enemies coming after you. You’ll have to get enemies far away and lose track of them, then go back to the goal. This may be boring, but it’s the only way to do it.
When the enemy is after you, run away from the goal. Once you are far enough away, close as many doors as you can between you and the enemy before you go back. Running around the goal or getting stunned more than once won’t help because those things only work for a short time. It takes the enemy longer to co me back when you lose chase far away.
