Fans have a lot of questions that haven’t been answered yet, and a remake of Devil May Cry 3 could be the answer to many of them.
Devil May Cry is one of the games that Capcom fans have asked to be remade the most. This is mostly because the third and fifth games in the series are so famous. With the success of the Resident Evil 2 and 4 remakes and the possibility that Capcom will do the same with other games. Devil May Cry 3 is still one of the most talked about games that needs to be updated to meet current standards.
Many people would think that Devil May Cry 1 would be the first game to get an update. But this could be Capcom’s chance to finally put the games in order. Starting with Devil May Cry 3, which is the first game in the series’ timeline.
Dante & Vergil’s Childhood

Even though each Devil May Cry game talks about the Sons of Sparda and shows a few scenes from their childhood. There is still a lot to learn about them in the games themselves. As Devil May Cry 5 shows how their mother Eva died trying to save both Dante and Vergil, Vergil’s anger and dislike for his brother come from the fact that he thinks she left him behind. Even though she died before she could find him.
This was nice to see, but a remake of Devil May Cry 3 could give fans a better look at the twins’ youth. What happened before their mother died, and how things were when the family was safe.
Sparda’s Death

Sparda hasn’t been on screen much, if at all, except for the opening scene of the first game in the series and the Sparda costumes that players can use between Dante and Vergil in Devil May Cry 4. One of the things that isn’t clear about the whole story is how Sparda died, who killed him. And how such a powerful person could be defeated if he died in fight.
Whether or not Capcom decides to retcon the fact that he disappeared and died. Devs could add more to the story if they went back to Devil May Cry 3 and looked at it again. Given the lack of clarity as to why he disappeared or how he died. It would be interesting to see the character in a flashback scene during the co-evolution of Dante and Vergil.
RE Engine/Devil May Cry 5 Gameplay

Outside of the story, all of Capcom’s recent games that use the RE Engine have been a huge success. Both in terms of how well they run on all systems and how they work as games. Devil May Cry 5 is a huge improvement over all of its predecessors. It has better graphics and new levels of fluidity in movement, attacks, and style in battle.
If a Devil May Cry 3 remake is approved, Capcom already has the right model to work from. It would be a great show, to say the least, to see the epic fights from the third Slope Game updated for modern gameplay and graphics quality.
Nero’s Birth/Mother

Since Devil May Cry 5 finally confirmed that Nero is Vergil’s son, the next question is who Nero’s mother is. Even though it probably doesn’t change the story much at this point. Many people still wonder who Vergil could have fallen in love with and when.
As the Vergil mission of Devil May Cry 4 Special Edition shows. A hooded woman is seen crossing paths with the older Sparda son in Fortuna. Many people think this woman is Nero’s mother. Even though this scene could be a long time before Devil May Cry 3, the ending or later parts of a remake could either hint at what will happen in Devil May Cry 6 or show her true identity, which could also set up a future plot.
Period Between Ending & Devil May Cry 1

Since Devil May Cry 3 is the first game in the story. There is a long time between the end of 3 and the start of 1. These would be thought of as the years when Dante’s demon-hunting business, “Devil May Cry,” gradually started to grow. And there must have been some interesting events during this time.
Again, it’s not clear if this would happen during the main parts of a Devil May Cry 3 remake or if it would be revealed at the end. But there’s no question that fans would want to see this. This could then lead into a remake of Devil May Cry 1. Giving Capcom a chance to make even more changes to the story and add new plot lines.
