In Crusader Kings 3, the only way to get more land is to go to war. The following choices should also be taken into account.
Crusader Kings 3 is a game about building up a country to rule over as much of the world as possible. This means, of course, that they will have to go to war to take land from other masters. But Crusader Kings 3 doesn’t have to be full of blood and fighting for players to build a kingdom.
In Crusader Kings 3, there are many ways to get land if you use your character’s skills properly. Using intrigue to murder a way to the top or marrying off heirs to set up a future ruler, players can co-nquer entire countries and realms without using any soldiers at all.
Vassalization

The easiest way to get more land might be to make nearby countries your slaves. To do this, Eggy Car players just need to click on the ruler of the land they want and scroll to the bottom of their tasks page. There should be a “Offer Vassalage” button that, when pressed, sends a letter to the selected ruler, who will then reply with their decision.
Most of the time, a nearby ruler will only accept this if the players are of the same faith and culture as the wanted ruler and if the land that the desired ruler holds is legally the players’. It is possible to get them to agree without meeting these conditions. For example, you could have a good relationship with the king you want or have a lot more power than the ruler you want. But if you only have this, the chance to become a vassal will likely be turned down.
Strategic Marriages

Setting up a bloodline for future Kings or Queens isn’t easy. And it will take a lot of study to find out which people and realms are easiest to marry into. Most of the time, it’s a good idea to choose an old ruler who doesn’t have any children. This is because the old ruler’s family will die out soon, leaving your heir as the only legal heir to the realm. This also works if players marry their own character to an old maste. Which puts them in a position of power right away.
Another way to use marriages to get land is to marry a cousin into a powerful family. Then, as cruel as it sounds, players can kill their way through the powerful family. Leaving the player’s heir as the only character left with a claim to the desired realm. This will work best for characters with high interest because players will be able to kill, capture, or trick their way into a claim to a realm much faster.
Murder

One of the more dangerous ways to get land without going to war is to kill people. If players are caught in the act, it will not be easy to save their reputations. Still, murder is a good choice for people with a lot of intrigue. Because it makes each attempt to kill them much more likely to work.
Murder can be used in many situations. And if done properly, it can be useful. For example, if a ruler declares war on the player. The player can avoid fighting by killing the ruler and their heirs until they give up and surrender or make a white peace. Also, players can kill the heirs and masters of realms where their character has a claim or where their character’s heir has a claim. This makes it easy for the player to just grab the crown of the realm they want.
Diplomatic Approach

In Crusader Kings 3, it’s important to keep up looks and get along with other rulers, lieges, and vassals. Especially if players want to gain land without going to war. Players can get along with their liege and other masters, which makes it more likely that their liege will give them vassals and lands out of the goodness of their hearts.
If a player takes this method and makes friends with other rulers. It’s possible that other rulers will beg to become one of the player’s vassals. This doesn’t happen very often, so don’t count on it too often. However, people with a high diplomacy statistic could try to make it happen. Increasing negotiation also makes it less likely that other countries will go to war with the players’ realm. Which is very helpful if the players want to take over the world without going to war.
Tactical Capturing

In Crusader Kings 3, players can capture characters by going down the intrigue skill tree. Especially the “Schemer” skill tree, and getting the “Kidnapper” skill. This lets the player kidnap other people, which gives them a lot of options. If the player kidnaps an heir to a realm they want, changes their religion to match their own. And then brings the kidnapped heir into their court, they will have a chance to steal the realm they want.
Players will have to give the newly hired heir of the desired realm a piece of land that is the same size or bigger than the desired realm. For example, if the ideal realm is only a county. The player must give the recruited heir a duchy or county. This means that when the current ruler of the wanted realm dies. The abductee-turned-vassal heir will take over that land, making it part of the players’ overall realm.
You can play Crusader Kings 3 on PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X/S.
