Use these carefully chosen agents to beat Icebox in Valorant.
Riot Games added the Icebox map to Valorant with patch 1.10 in October 2020. It was the fifth map that Riot Games added to the game. According to the story of the game, this map with a cold theme is based on a Russian island on Alpha Earth.
It was the first map to have horizontal zip lines, and the creators have made several changes to Icebox since it came out to make sure Valorant is fun to play. To do well and do well on it, you must choose characters that are best for the map. Check out the agents on this list if you want to find the best ones to use on Icebox.
Reyna (Duelist)

Reyna is one of the best Duelists in Valorant, and if you have bad aim, the Icebox map might be a good place for her. Her ability to heal or leave the game after getting a kill can be very useful and fits nicely with the aggressive style of play you need on this map.
The agent’s Leer ability will be especially helpful during executes. You can use it on A main or around B garage to blind your opponents and clear out these important areas. On top of that, her ultimate can help you kill a lot of enemies by increasing your rate of fire, healing you automatically, and letting you leave quickly.
Harbor (Controller)

Harbor hasn’t been used much on any of the maps in Valorant since he came out, but he will be a great choice for you on Icebox. You can use his wall while rushing to the A or B site to secure a good Spike plant thanks to this agent’s skills, which nicely coexist with the map.
His Cove power, “Smoke,” can also be used to block off angles like Rafters, which gives you more control. His ultimate isn’t very strong, but it would work if you tried to take back either site while defending.
Omen (Controller)

You should consider using Omen because he has a strong kit and can play aggressively. His Shrouded Step ability lets you travel over short distances, and you can make smart plays by going over Tube in Mid or Yellow on B site.
You can also use the agent’s two Dark Cover smokes to cover angles, while Paranoia can be used to blind opponents in tight angles like Tubes. Lastly, the From the Shadows ultimate can send you anywhere on the map, which can be crucial in a 1 vs. 1 or 2 vs. 1 for rotation.
Raze (Duelist)

If you can learn Raze’s aerial moves, she is another good Duelist you will enjoy playing on Icebox. She is very good at getting information on both places, and her skills can do a lot of damage.
For example, Raze’s Paint Shell can kill, and you can throw them into tight spots like Generator on A site to force enemies out and even do some damage. While she is entering, her Boom Bot can help and could be a distraction.
Lastly, the Show Stopper ultimate is a game-changer because it lets you kill a lot of enemies all at once.
KAY-O (Initiator)

You can try out KAY-O, the robot-based character in Valorant, as a great Initiator in the Icebox map. By utilizing his amazing skills in conjunction with the skills of the team. You can complete or retake a site flawlessly.
You can rush onto the spot by using the ZERO/POINT ability. Which makes your opponents weak and lets you know how many there are. The FLASH/DRIVE can be used to blind enemies while fighting on A, B, or Mid, and the FRAG/MENT can be used as a grenade to get rid of enemies who are sitting in one spot.
Also, KAY-O’s ultimate ability can cancel out the abilities of your opponents, letting you make more bold moves.
Sage (Sentinel)

Sage’s role as a Sentinel is very important on Icebox, and he adds a lot to the team’s balance. You can use her Slow Orbs, and Wall can stop the other team from taking control of Mid or either of the two spots right away. The Wall is also important because it lets you have a safe plant near Generator on the A site and Default on the B site, which can be very helpful.
Her ability to heal friends is also important, so you need to play to help your team. You can use her ultimate to bring a dead friend back to life. And then that teammate can help you win the round with their help.
Jett (Duelist)

Jett is the best choice for the Duelist job on Icebox because of her skills and her kit. With her skill “Updraft,” you can jump into the air and play angles that your opponents wouldn’t expect.
Also, her power “Tailwind” lets you dash a short distance in any direction, which lets you get out of fights. With the Cloudburst, you can make a smoke screen. That makes it hard for enemies to see you and gives you time to move.
Her ultimate is also great, and it can kill some people. It’s also great for using in Eco rounds.
Killjoy (Sentinel)

Killjoy has a great set of tools that can help you protect sites. The abilities can be crucial to controlling parts of Tunnel Rush game like Tubes or Mid, and they can stop opponents from getting to important spots.
You can use her Alarmbot to cover sides or choke points so enemies can’t sneak up on you without being seen. If an enemy is trying to get through, you can hurt them with her Nanoswarm.
At the same time, her Turret can be put to automatically target and damage enemies in its line of sigh. And her ultimate ability can be great for retaking or committing to a site.
Sova (Initiator)

Sova is the best choice in Valorant if you want to play the Initiator part on Icebox. His Recon Bolt and Owl Drone can give him important information about where the enemy is. This makes them useful for both attacking and protecting.
In the meantime, you can use his Shock Darts during post-plants. And set up teams for Default on both sites to hurt your opponents.
The Hunter’s Fury ultimate can also be useful after a player has planted a tree. You can use it as a defense to stop opponents from getting a safe plant on A site and destroy Killjoy’s ultimate.
Viper (Controller)

Viper is without a question the best Controller you can play on Valorant’s Icebo. And the agent is almost made for it. Her Toxic Screen will be very helpful and cut off angles on both sites. While her Poison Cloud can smoke out a spot, ideally Snowman or Screens.
When it comes to Viper’s Snake Bite, you can use it to get your team some rounds after a plant, but you must learn the lines. In the end, the Viper’s Pit can be used to ensure a round win in places like A site and the Bridge at B.
